Things couples can do together this Easter

As Christians gather this day for the climax of the Passion Week that ends the 40-day Lenten season  there would have been some requests that we as mortals would have placed before God to make this year’s Easter celebration one with a difference.....

Globally, holidays are declared for such festivities aside the fact that school curricula are designed in such a way that school children would be at home with their parents to catch in the fun that accompanies this season.
For sometime now, parents are always working to make festivals memorable for their children at their own expense. As adults, we also need some measure of relaxation during this festive season to get ourselves refreshed.
Here are some activities that we can engage in for a total departure from the traditional ways we have been celebrating for decades.
Cook an exotic dish together and explore your culinary talents.
Swimming, stretching, crunches, exercise together.
Play a game of truth or dare with your partner and get as naughty as you can.
Try to knock each other down in a pillow fight, this could be an interesting and fun-filled activity.
Give a relaxing massage to your partner. Add a touch of romance with soft music playing in the background.
Rent some DVDs and enjoy a movie marathon together.
Have a musical streak? Try composing a song together, that will become your ‘special song’.
Redecorate your house together. This will help you create a living space that matches your style and tastes.
Compile a list of all your favourite songs and movies. Burn it later and enjoy
As a couple, take a vacation to an unexplored destination at an affordable rate.
If you love children, you can visit an orphanage or kindergarten and spend quality time with children.
Participate in a karaoke night together.
Apart from fun, you could try something spiritually enlightening, like yoga. This will help bring you together on a healthy note.
Try baking a cake together while having some fun with the chocolate sauce used.
Surprise your partner by serving breakfast in bed.
Give each other an awesome makeover!
Make a list of tasks for each other. Give each task a deadline, and of course, a reward on completion. Take a sightseeing tour of places that hold cultural or historical significance.
Spend a day at the beach. Eat ice-cream, build sand castles, soak up some sun and just relax.
Visit an amusement park and spend the day enjoying the wild rides.
Go for a picnic at the local park. You can even take a long road trip and stop over at a romantic spot to enjoy the delicious picnic basket.
• Get a diary and everyday, write a paragraph about how your partner makes you feel! Thought only teens did it? Nah!Enjoy each moment like there is no tomorrow. Turn an otherwise ordinary chore like shopping into a fun afternoon spent together. Say ‘I Love You’ in different languages or when your partner least expects to hear it.
These fun things done together will add a whole new dimension to your relationship and turn those faint expressions of love into a thing of the past.
Your first Easter together
For couples planning their first Easter together, the first year of marriage takes work.
Getting creative with each other is a natural thing to do, when there are no kids involved, even when there is, you can still keep the romance alive.
A cute, and sexy little bunny suit, with bunny ears, a white teddy, or body suit, with a puffy tale, would be a nice surprise for you sweetheart.
Having your own bit of fun with an Easter Egg hunt, but instead of chocolate in the eggs, it could be a diamond ring, jewellery, or special love notes, that would lead you to the grand present. You can of course still have your favourite ‘guilt free’ chocolate, to go with your private affair.
Planning a day out together to just do whatever you want is always a great tradition for new couples. You put all others aside, and go out for a quite walk in the park, attend an Easter display at a museum or cinema, go out for a nice dinner, and dance. Enjoy the quiet time while you can.
You could make special hampers for each other. A basket  stuffed with chocolate, special wine or beverage accompanied with your partner’s favourite perfume and other surprise packages and maybe a dvd to watch
